Swatches: New Eyecom Lenses

Hi!

So like I stated on the title, this is not exactly a review, but more of a swatches of all the colors in case some of you were wondering. These are new lenses from Eyecom Dubai, if you like lenses I'm sure most of you have heard about it.

I posted this because I know there's not many pictures of them now, since they're just been released, and I was lucky enough to got these early so I thought I'll share it with you guys :)

Honestly, I don't think Eyecom is the best lenses, in terms of comfort. But these new and improved version are sooooooooo amazing!! I wear them the whole day and I didn't feel a thing. I seriously forgot that I even had lenses on, which means it has a great quality.

Usage: 1 year (but I never suggest to use it that long, probably 6 months tops)

Pink All The Way

NYX Round Lipstick - Hebe

Although eye makeup is something that I posted the most, lip products are actually my favorite. I literally can't get enough of it.

At first I was only into nude lipstick, and after a while I realize that I got so many shades that looks like they're exactly the same (but they're not!) so I thought I gotta take things up a notch, otherwise my looks would look boring.

So I tried red lipstick, without knowing a single fuckin thing about choosing the perfect red. I always thought that I never looked good in red lipstick, but then I found out that it's just because I have no idea how to find the right shade for me.

It takes a lot of trial and errors for me until I find the right one, and for now that is the NYX Round Lipstick in Hebe.

If you're reading this, chances are you already know about NYX and how amazing their products are, and I'm sure you've heard about their round lipstick.

So here's what it looks like

Unlike most of the other round lipstick, this one has shimmer in it, which allows you to skip lip gloss, but it's still very very creamy.

I guess that's it.
For those of you who haven't found your perfect red, DO NOT GIVE UP!
Every woman, I repeat, every woman (and man!) can look good in red lipstick, you just need to know how to find your shade.

And even though I found mine, this does not mean that I would stop trying new red lipstick.
That's just impossible. Lol

Green & Yellow Stripes

Hello!

So today's post is basically about one final look, but I separated them into 3 steps, just in case you wanna see the steps. Well.. not exactly a tutorial here, just some guidance on what to do first :)

Step 1:
The first thing that I made was a basic Green Smokey Eye. I don't think there's much to explain here because I'm sure we all know what it is. lol
Here's how it looks like

Nothing special here, like I said it's just a basic smokey eye

Step 2:
I got bored and decided to take it up a notch, and added some yellow eyeshadow on the browbone. Not exactly the prettiest look, but I actually kinda like it.

Step 3:
Last thing I did was making stripes. I wanted the stripes to look like it came up from the lid, so I make sure it is connected with the green eyeshadow on the lid that I applied in the beginning.

I made the stripes using eyeshadows and a wet eyeliner brush, it makes it easier to control the precision with a small brush, and by making it wet the shadows will have an eyeliner consistency which is exactly what I was after.

Raspberry Blue

Sulwhasoo Evenfair Perfecting Cushion

So a couple days ago I was lucky enough to be invited to Sulwhasoo launching event of the Evenfair Perfecting Cushion.

First of all, for those who have never heard of this brand before, it is a luxury skincare brand from Korea, and I'm sure we all are jealous of Korean girl's (and guys!) insanely perfect skin.
Sulwhasoo has been in Indonesia since the end of last year (2013) and is widely known for the skincare. Now, they're starting to expand into makeup products (YAY!)

They already have a liquid foundation and a powder which you can already get in the counter, but they are launching a new product that will be available in stores on September 2014.
This product is called Evenfair Perfecting Cushion

What is it exactly?
It is basically a compact foundation with skincare materials and comes in a very unique packaging.
Here's how it looks like

So it looks like a compact powder or so, but it contains liquid foundation. That's interesting.

How do we use this?
Just like a compact powder, you use the puff and tap it all over your face. This thing has full coverage but you can use it in a very small amount for a sheer effect.

What's so good about this thing?
Oh a lot!

Let's start with the main ingredients:
Apricot Kernel Oil (minyak biji aprikot) 
and Jaumdan, Korean herbal water consisting of :
Solomon's seal, East Indian lotus, Adhesive Rehmannia, White lily, and peony.

Other awesome facts about Sulwhasoo Evenfair Perfecting Cushion:

Sulwhasoo skincare range is known for having a strong Ginseng smell, and this product have the smell as well, but I don't think it's bothering me at all

About the packaging
Let me just point out that I am not a fan of a powder puff, I'm all about  brushes. But the puff in this product which is called the Rubycell Puff seems more like a sponge and it is specifically designed to give soothing effect without being sticky. And it was highly recommended to use this product with the puff applicator, so I tried it. And it works perfectly. The product is distributed evenly all over the face and I swear it feels like I'm not wearing anything but my skin looks soooooooo much better!

So yeah.. I guess I'm a puff user now? Hahahaha

The product itself is stored under the cushion consisting of 800,000 pores making sure that the foundation is super smooth. Here's some clearer pictures of the packaging.

With this product, you can skip so many steps of your base makeup routine. It is so quick and easy.

Medium Pink - 21
Medium Beige - 23 (the one that I got)
Deep Beige - 25
I don't know if they're gonna come up with more colors, but the deep beige is still too light for me. You might wanna keep that in mind.

Sweet Pea Dry Shampoo

If you know me, you'll know that I hate washing my hair. They take forever to dry and it's so annoying. Well at least that's my excuse, what I'm trying to say is basically I'm a lazy ass. Hahahah

So given all that, one of the greatest invention to me is dry shampoo. They act like an oil-absorbant if you don't have time (or don't want) to wash your hair. I use dry shampoo a lot on the 3rd or 4th day after I wash my hair. Because for some reason my hair looks soooooo much better after a couple days.
