The Sleek Pout Paint is a lip color that is SUPER SUPER REALLY FREAKISHLY pigmented. You only need the tiniest amount to color the whole lip. That's why many people are in love with them. It comes in 11 beautiful colors, and meant to be mixed to create your own color, but some of them are great to use on their own. I got 2 of them, in the color Minx and Pin up.
Minx is a soft nude pink. It's great for lighter skin tone. I use this in the tiniest possible amount to create a nude lip.
Pin up is a vibrant red. I'm sure it works for any skin tone. You can build the color by applying more layer if you want a darker red. It is a very versatile product, I even use this one as fake blood for face painting.
To use this, you'll need a lip brush, you don't want to apply this with your fingers, because it will create a mess. Take the product in a tiny dot and then apply it all over your lip. You'll be amazed by the pigmentation. It's crazy.
You can see on the left of each color I take a tiny amount of product and the right one are the same amount blended. One tube of this pout paint will last a lifetime, because a little goes a long way!
Hope it helps!

NYX Slim Lip Pencil
The NYX Slim Lip Pencil come in 60 shades. So it took me quite some time to choose the ones I want. Finally I bought 4 of them. They're soft, and glides easily on the lips, unlike other lip pencil I tried, which is from The Body Shop. It's too dry and hard to apply. But it may work wonders on other people. Different person can have different results. This NYX lip pencil also great as a base, to prevent the lipstick from feathering or smudging all over. So the colors are:
Nude beige is a soft brown, works for most skin types. Works best to even out the lip color. I love this one so much :)
Natural is a soft pink, it's not too pale so you can use it on its own. Maybe apply some lip balm before or after to prevent dryness.
Rose is a bright pale pink (does that make sense?). Well it's a bright pink, but kinda washed so it doesn't look too doll-like or too bright. Looks beautiful on the lips. May works best for lighter skin tone to use on its own, but it's great to even out the lip or as a base.
Hot red is a beautiful neutral red, works for all skin tones. Red lip liner is very very important when you're trying to wear red lipstick. Because if you're brave enough to wear red lips, you don't want it to wear off. So it's important to apply lip liner all over the lips to create a base, and prevent the red lipstick you put on top of it to wear off or smudge all over. It also helps the color to stay longer.
Lip liners are useful not only to make your lips look fuller by lining all over the lips, (sometimes outside the actual lip line if your lips are really small/thin) but also as a base by coloring the whole lips with it so your lipstick can have something to hold on to, so it stays longer.
Here's some swatches to help you choose:

NYX Round Lipsticks

| bottom part shows the color which is really handy |
| swatches on my arm |
Circe is a wonderful beige/natural/light brown color, which I always use as a base for my lips. It helps to even out my lip color that is quite pigmented. I let it sit for a while, and then I applied another lipstick. I'm still thinking to get a brown/nude lip liner similar to this, though. The creamy texture of these round lipsticks makes it not the best lip base. But this color is also great to use as it is, it gives a real nude lip, but if you use it too much you're gonna look pale. Unless you have a very dark skin. This color is perfect for those with darker skin tone.
Heredes is a dark beige/brown color, that is perfect for everyday use. It has a little hint of red, which I think is perfect to get a nice polished lips without looking too strong. Also a great alternative for those who are not brave enough to wear red lipstick. I love this one.
B52 is a nude pink color which is great if you're going for a nude lips. I think this one can be used on any skin tone. It's really nude and soft. Definitely one of my favorite, so I use this a lot.
Perfect is a slightly darker nude pink. It's basically a darker version of B52, so I had to have it. This one has always been in my purse, bag, make up bag whenever I go out. I just take this and a translucent powder. That's it. This color lives up to the name, perfect. I got nothing else to say, really. This one is my favorite lipstick so far.
Tea Rose is still a nude pink, but I think of it as a pinkier version of B52, if that make sense. It has more pink than the nude tones in it. Wouldn't wear this too strong, I just apply it on the middle part of my lips, and then blend it all over the lips with my finger. It's a really beautiful soft pink, especially if you apply nude lip liner before and a nude lip gloss after. This color may look best on those with lighter skin tone.
Fire is a bright bold reddish pink. If you're looking for the color between bright red and bright pink, this is it. I really really love this one, but haven't got the guts to wear it.
Femme is a bright orange-red. I use this one a lot, but only on the middle part of the lips, and blend all over. Just like tea rose, but this one is to add a little bit of red. Usually I apply another color first, and then apply this on top. It gives a fresh look in an instant. The orange really helps to add more color on the face. This will look great if you don't use blushes, or use it in a very small amount.
Hebe is a dark red with shimmer/metallic finish. It's a great color, but I never use this one, again because I haven't got the guts. If I ever use it, I would top this with Femme, because it's a little too dark for me. This will look beautiful on a lighter skin tone, though.
That's it for the review. One thing I should say, is that the NYX Round Lipstick may feather a bit. It doesn't have a great staying power, so you may need to reapply after you eat/drink.
All colors are buildable, so if you want a sheer coverage, apply it lightly, and if you want a full coverage and a deeper color, apply more layers.
The NYX Round Lipstick shades can be checked on their website:
http://www.nyxcosmetics.com/products/lips/lipstick/round-lipstick
I think they added more colors recently, so in total there are 144 shades of lipstick available. That's why I love it.
Hope it helps!

Homemade Lip Color / Cream Eyeshadow / Blusher
This morning I just got a delivery of small jars that I ordered yesterday. And I can't wait to use it. So I mixed some of my mother's old lipstick with mine and created these beautiful lip colors that can also be used as cream eyeshadow. If you take a look at the colors, some of them are better used as an eyeshadow.
To make your own lip color / cream eyeshadow / blusher, all you need is:
- Some lipsticks. If you're doing this for the first time, you might want to use the one that you're not using anymore, just in case.
- Some empty cosmetic jars
- Vaseline Petroleum Jelly
- A knife. You don't need a sharp one, butter knife is perfect
- A candle (or stove, or anything with heat)
- Some spoons. I suggest you take one small spoon and one bigger spoon
And that's it.
So first, make sure the empty jars are in a reachable place, so you won't be looking for them in a hurry later on.
Cut the lipstick you wanted to mix with a knife in a desired amount, and place it on the big spoon.
Add some Vaseline Petroleum Jelly onto the spoon.
*Do not mix the products now, because it will be sticky and create a mess.
Light the candle.
Place the big spoon above the candle, and wait until the products melt.
Stir with the small spoon until it's all mixed together.
Pour the mixture into the jar.
You might want to leave it open for about 10 minutes, and then put in on the fridge for about 30 minutes.
Done :D
You can add any color you like, because we all have that lipstick that are just too dark / too bright to use on its own, so you want to mix them.
What I really love is the fact that you can use this as anything you want. A lip color, eyeshadow, or even blusher. A lot of makeup artists around the world are now using lip colors as an eyeshadow or blusher. As we might all know, lips are a very delicate area, so whatever products that can be used on the lips should be OK to be used on other face areas. Make sense to me.
One thing i recommend, if you're planning to use it only as a cream eyeshadow, a good thing to add is an eyeshadow base, so it would prevent the product to crease.
Hope it helps, and good luck!
